1st Live film

Replicating an Artist

Guidelines:
1.Choose a movie scene  from the list.
2.Now you are going to recreate that exact same scene.
3.You need to use the same lines, resemble the same characters,  and same ANGLES!!!
4.You need to somehow come up with a location that is similar or closely related.
5.You can only work in groups of 3 or less.  But you can ask others to help you out with your scene because a lot of you will need extras.  Choose people that you have worked good with already.  You should not pull the entire weight of the group.
6.This will be shot 100% at school.

For this assignment you are going to choose a scene from a movie from the list in my handouts.  Only 1 group can do each movie.  Once you know what movie you want let me know ASAP.  Once it is gone it is gone!

BLOG SITE and Film Footage

Here is what I want you to work on for the next 4 days.

        1-Create your own Blogsite
2-Create a short video with all 19 clips and put them into imovie with
           subtitle sections and audio

Blogsite Guidelines:
 Making your Blog Sites
You will be creating your own Blog site that showcases your best work that you have created in Intro to Film/Photography.  I have listed in detail exactly what I want in your Blog sites below.  It will look similar to mine, but it will be all yours-like a personal online portfolio of all the wonderful things that you have and will create in this Intro class.  We will take a look at your Blog site for a grade 4 times throughout the school year.
Due by Monday 11/10/14
I will sit down and review these with you on Monday 1 on 1.
1.  You will need to have 5 different pages.
        1. Home page-This page should have a picture that describes who you are and
explain what your site is all about
        2. Photos' Page- here you will put what you believe are your best photos that you have created in this class.  You will choose a photo add it and then write a caption about the piece that you put onto your blog.  In the caption I want you to talk about the piece a little bit-describe the piece or the assignment and then talk about the good qualities to the photo.
        3. Photoshop page-here you can put larger assignments like the banner that was made solely in Photoshop.  You will have other assignments that you create throughout the school year to add to this section too.
        4. Films Page-I know we have not made it here yet, but you will need this page soon enough.
        5. Personal Philosophy/views on Filmmaking and Photography-here you will write what you think is important when it comes to Photography and Filmmaking.  I want to hear your voice on your views of what you believe are good qualities to filmmaking and Photography.  I want to hear your views and how they will change throughout the school year.  You will be adding to this throughout the school year. (of course having a photo on this page would make it more interesting as well)
You can make this a tips page if you would like-be creative, make it fun.
