Unit 1: OBJECTS

Assignment #1: Learning to take Photos.  Take 48 photos of an object you choose at 4 different states of being, 12 from each state of being.  50 points.  Grading sheet based on your photos. 10 points.

Assignment #2: Learning Photoshop.  We will do some practice assignments throughout this section to help you learn the basics of Photoshop.  Be prepared for homework.

Assignment #3: Animation in Photoshop based on your object from Assignment #1.

Unit 2: LANDSCAPES

Assignment #1: Landscape Photography-100 Photo's, 3 Field trips

Assignment #2: Film..........Stop Motion within Nature.

Assignment #3: Working in assigned groups you will be creating another stop motion based on one Element or Principle of Design.   You are to create your own song that has a catchy jingle to it as well for this assignment.

Unit 3: PEOPLE

Assignment #1: Taking 100 Photo's of People

Assignment #2:  1st live film-Choose one of the competition topics to base your film off of.

Unit 4: HOUSEKEEPING

Assignment #1: Create a Blogsite

Assignment #2: Create 3 yearbook designs

Unit 4: SCHOLASTICS

Assignment: Select any Photos that you really like, edit them and turn them in to be selected by the Art teachers for the Scholastic Art Show.

Unit 5: AFTER EFFECTS

Assignment #1:  Basics #1-Program Layout.

Assignment #2:  Basics #2-Extended program Layout.

Assignment #3:  Basics #3-Create your own intro.

Unit 6: CHILDREN'S BOOK

Assignment #1: Find a classic children's book to base your next film off of.  You can create a Pre-quil, Sequil or reenact the actual book.  Your choose, just be creative with it. 

Assignment #2: Take 20 photos while you are filming your children's book.  Be creative with it and try to capture a message that comes from behind the story basis.

Unit 7: Music Video's/After Effects

Assignment #1: Create a music video to a song you like.

Assignment #2: Basics #4- Green Screen and Vignette in After Effects

Unit 8: 21 Day Photo Challenge/ RRR Posters

Assignment #1: Take 20 Photos a day on a topic given to you each day.

Assignment #2: Design and create 3 different RRR Posters to promote recycling

Unit 9: HATHAWAY BROWN FILM FESTIVAL

Assignment #1:
What is your main conflict of your story (is it between people, or between ways of life, or between ideas or between good and evil)
