This assignment is due on May 10th.

FILM ASSIGNMENT:

Film Noir 3-5 minute film-groups of your choice-CHOOSE WISELY!

Usually is a detective situation or a story of crime
Fear, mistrust, bleakness, loss of innocence, despair and paranoia are readily evident in noir

Classic film noir developed during and after World War II, taking advantage of the post-war ambience of anxiety, pessimism, and suspicion. It was a style of black and white American films that first evolved in the 1940s, became prominent in the post-war era, and lasted in a classic "Golden Age" period until about 1960.  Strictly speaking, film noir is not a genre, but rather the mood, style, point-of-view, or tone of a film. It is also helpful to realize that 'film noir' usually refers to a distinct historical period of film history.

Midterm

Along with your 50 point Blog site you will also have a Photoshop design that is worth 50 points as well.  Here is the assignment:

Take a photo and do an unique and creative photo edit to it.  This should have multiple layers and brushes used on it and should look like it has been designed by you like these below.  You need to find something new and try to make it yourself in PHOTOSHOP.  You will need to make 3 of them.  If they are all done and your website done by Friday and you show them to me and I put your grade in you are exempt from coming into my final next week :D  Merry Christmas!
