Christmas Ornaments

Change of Pace for 1 day ONLY!

I want everyone TODAY ONLY to make Christmas Ornaments for the front display case and for my little Christmas tree.  I will print all of them out to be hung up.  We are only working on them in class today only.  We can't take a lot of time on this.  But it is worth 20 points so yes you must all make ONE.

So here is the assignment:

Think of a favorite holiday memory for you.  Or maybe a favorite holiday ornament.  Or maybe your favorite thing about the winter season. 

Now think about what pattern or shape or colors could reflect your idea the best.  I have added some pictures for inspiration, but as always I encourage you to look up ideas too.  But don't take too long, you only have about 40 minutes to make this and turn it in.

YOU MUST DRAW OUT YOUR DESIGN, you can not copy and paste one you see to use as yours-that is cheating. Create your design in Photoshop with a white background and it must have what looks like a string to hang it from the tree.  You can add a filter to make it look unique and play with the color adjustments too.  Then save it as a JPEG and drop it in my dropbox before you leave class today.
