THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN TAKING PHOTO'S:
RULE OF THIRDS-of course
FOCAL POINT-get closer or zoom in on your focal point.
BALANCE-Does your artwork look balanced? Is it to empty on one side opposed to the other.
CONTRAST-Look at the dark and light colors next to each other-it will be more interesting if you show higher areas of contrast.
REFLECTED LIGHT-I would like you to try using a white piece of paper to create reflected light if possible in this lesson.
HARD/SOFT LIGHT- I would also like for you to try to use soft or hard light in one of the successful ways they showed us in the video.
First step for this assignment:
Make a list of 5-10 different things/objects you could possibly use as your subject. Then circle your favorite 2. Now tell me what you could photograph for each stage of your object/thing.
I am Jessica Mello and I am in the 10th grade. I took this class because I enjoy making films and wanted to learn past imovie. I don't have much of a past with photography, but with filmmaking I have made over dozens of imovies for classes. I expect to learn new features on a new program. (photoshop, after affects) My favorite movie is 42 because it shows how Jackie Robinson changed the world of baseball and discrimination.
