  1. 1. I have learned thus far that I am a pretty good photographer, I can notices different lighting and angles to help me get a better shot. My weaknesses is judging what is a good shot to a bad one. It takes me a little bit to figure out what I want to photograph.
    2. I have learned from photoshop how to change colors, crop the pictures, and enhance the photos. I am pretty comfortable with the coloring corrections and picture resizing, I am getting the hang of it. A question that I have is How do you make the background blurry and the front object to pop? I just tried to adjust the picture differently to make the photo look good.

I have learned that I am a very strong photographer. My strengths in photography is that I look at objects at different perspectives. I take many photos of one image to be able to find the best one. My weaknesses for photo taking is that my perspective of woods and trees is not the best. I struggle with taking pictures of trees in different angles.
I enjoy Photoshop. I understand how to enhance colors in the photo. I am comfortable enhancing my photos and I enjoy the outcome after testing out different enhancements.
One question I have is to how to blur out the background of the picture so it only focuses on the main object in the image.
Thus far I have enjoyed this class. It is relaxing and a class that I enjoy because I get to do something I adore doing.

  4. As a photographer so far I think I take too many photos straight on and not enough angle. I think that I include too many unnecessary objects.
I like Photoshop a lot. They ability to change colors are what I have enjoyed the most so far. The contrast is a very helpful tool.

  5. I personally think I am a decent photographer. I sometimes take good pictures and sometimes I take blurry pictures. I believe that I can find good pictures, I am just not good at steadying the camera.
I think I am good at photoshop. I learned many things in photoshop last year, and I believe that I remember most things from last year.

I have learned that I'm a better photographer than originally thought. My strengths include my ability to spot interesting things to photograph, and my willingness to change angles. My weaknesses include my inability to notice light, and take lights and shade into consideration.
I found photoshop to be somewhat difficult at the beginning, because I couldn't figure out how to edit pictures. But once I found out how to do it, editing became much easier.

I’ve found myself to be a much better photographer then expected. I believe that I find great angles that make my photos interesting to look out. I also enjoy the backgrounds in my photos , they are not boring , they too are interesting to look at like the object being focused on. Something else I like about my photos is what all I put in focus. I focus on one , or a small amount of objects at a time that draw your attention to the pictures. I don’t believe I have that many weaknesses especially for just starting out . I’m very proud of myself.
I’m okay on photoshop! I’m very comfortable with Color Corrections. Watching the video from last week of the man explaining how to use it was extremely over whelming and way to much to take in in that amount of time. I believe if I watch parts of it at a time I will be able to remember the basics in photo shop other then color correcting. I have no questions or concerns. When I ran into a problem with finding something in the option bar up top I just searched around in the “edit” drop bar.

  8. 1. I learned that I am a better photographer than i thought. My strengths are color, contrast, and ability to get pictures without it being blurry or shaky. My weaknesses are the subject of the photos and creativity of new angles.

    2. My experiences with photoshop are disappointing. I expected more out of photoshop, but I haven't seen anything that is different than iPhoto. I am comfortable with my color corrections and resizing images. I do not have any concerns or questions.

1.) In regards to myself as a photographer, I think I've learned how to look at things through different perspectives. I think my strengths are being able to take different shots at different angles and viewpoints. Also I've learned to play around with the focus of objects in and out of focus. Some of my weaknesses I think are making sure that the lighting is complimenting of the subject or focus in my pictures.
2.) So far I'm impressed by photoshop, by just making a small change can affect the whole main focus of the picture. So far I haven't had any problems pertaining to photoshop.

  10. I have learned a multitude of things about myself as a photographer thus far. One of the things that I have noticed is that I enjoy taking photo’s of things that are not intrinsically aesthetically pleasing. Another thing that I have discovered is that I’d rather take photos in an urban environment rather than a natural environment, a german ghetto would be ideal. Finally, among other things, I have noticed that I find that I am a much stronger photographer when I am alone. One of my weaknesses is that I enjoy taking photos of things that amuse me, but I am given assignments where I must take photos in bulk of a multitude of places that hold little to no interesting qualities to me.

I have had a pleasant experience with Photoshop. I feel entirely comfortable with both color corrections and resizing images. I am able to make photos appear warmer, colder, have deeper lines, have more contrast, and hold monochromatism. I have no questions and if one does appear, I’ll be sure to ask at that time. I ran into a problem when I wanted to cut an object out and put it in another background. I solved this by looking up how to do it on Google.

So far, I have learned that my skills in photography are taking pictures at particular angles, lighting, and my over all determination to get a really good shot. Basically, I feel that I have developed an eye for detail.

    2. Tell me a little bit about your experience with Photoshop thus far. How comfortable do you feel with just Color Corrections and resizing your images? List any questions or concerns. Explain a problem you may have run into and how you went about handling your problem.

So far, I love it. You get to do some crazy stuff to pictures like improve quality or change the pictures colors. I feel pretty comfortable with the program so far, my only thing is that I wish I could now how to correctly make certain parts of the picture, like shadows, darker without changing the entire picture.

Also taking pictures of the sun because it always get a bad glare .Strengths are taking pictures up close, of water, and of trees . I kinda feel comfortable with photo shop but its really confusing still . How do u get it so your picture afterwards doesn't have white spots .

  18. 1. My strengths in photo taking is getting shots from unique angles, and editing the colors in a photo. My weaknesses would be trying to take a photo from far away, and taking good quality photos.
    2. So far I am comfortable using photoshop and found new ways to improve photos. One problem I had was trying to figure out how to save the photo as a jpeg. If i tried to open it after i saved it, it would open into photoshop again.

  19. I love taking photos, I know I am new to this whole photography thing but I love it. I have a couple strengths, but also a few weaknesses. I think some of my strengths are that I am not afraid to get different angles, I am willing to lean over something or stand on a chair to get a good shot. My weaknesses include photo editing, I’m not really sure on how to mess with the color effects yet.
My experience with Photoshop thus far is a little messy. Im not really sure how to effectively work with the Color Corrections. I feel like once I get a good color every thing is alright, but it kinda takes me awhile. I don’t know how to rotate photos on Photoshop, I really would like to know though.

  20. 1. As a photographer this year I learned that to in order for me to get the best image I need to get up close and personal with whatever I want to take a picture of. I feel like I am becoming a better photographer and I am noticing if my pictures are blurry or not. I also notice it my pictures have a good angle or if I zoomed in to much or did not zoom in enough. My weaknesses would be that sometimes I do zoom in to much and my pictures look hazy and blurry. Also sometimes when I take pictures I angle to much and the picture looks weird and you can’t tell what it is.

    2. I really enjoy photoshop. It is really easy and not hard to work. I am really comfortable with the color corrections on photoshop. I like it because it helps my pictures look better and more professional. When editing your photos do all you need to do is fix the colors or do you have to do other things to edit your photo?

  21. 1. what i have learned about myself as a photographer is that i think I'm pretty good at taking photos. I'm good at not taking photos straight on and taking them with different angles. 2. I think that i am pretty good at photoshop. Color corrections is pretty simple and i understand it. The more i use photoshop the more i get use to it and understand it. But sometimes when i edit my photos they look to edited.

My strengths in the photo taking are that I understand what I need for a good photo and how to take a good photo. My weakness is that I have troubles applying my understanding for taking photos.
    2. At first, photoshop confused me a little bit but after a while I understood it more and was able to do some cool things in it while I was editing my photos. I had to play around with it though before I really understood how things worked.

  29. I have learned that I am a pretty good photographer. I think one of my strength is, that I can see something and know that it is going to be a good photo, for example because of the light. I think I am also good in finding different interesting angles for my pictures.
So far I am comfortable with photoshop. I think color corrections can make pictures so much better. It is just hard to decide how much I want to change the photo, like a lot warmer, how much brighter and all this stuff.

  30. 1. I think i learned a lot from this assiagnment because i learned to take the same picture but from different angles so you can have the same picture but it will look different in every picture. I think my strengths are just finding a good picture to take and the angles but my weakness is editing them to make them really pop.
    2. I don't have any concerns with photoshop. My experence with photoshop has been okay, i think i could do better with it like make the pictures look better by going further with photoshop.

  31. I learned that I am a decent photographer so far. I am good at taking still photos but have a hard time trying to decide what to take a picture of. I like using photoshop I used it last year a little in my Graphic Arts class. I am comfortable doing color corrections and resizing the image. Whenever I would drag a picture into the photoshop document I would have to size it down a lot.

  32. 1. I have learned that I can do well with bringing certain objects into focus however I lack taking many photos. I still have the mindset that a few decent ones are enough even though I should take many. Often I slightly move the camera at the last second and it makes the picture a bit blurry. Taking more photos might be a way for me to get more good shots that aren't blurred. I seem to be doing better with landscape photographs than still lives. I just find myself taking much more interesting photographs of natural landscapes than set pieces. I think i could still use some work on angles and object positioning in my photographs to make them a bit more interesting to the viewer.

    2. Tell me a little bit about your experience with Photoshop thus far. How comfortable do you feel with just Color Corrections and resizing your images? List any questions or concerns. Explain a problem you may have run into and how you went about handling your problem.

    2. My experience with photoshop isn't very vast however I'm moving along with it just fine. I'm interested in the program and practice using it. I feel very comfortable with color corrections and resizing. Some problems I run into are that I forgot where certain things are and normally I resolve this by asking some one else. I haven't really run into any major problems where I've just wanted to give up on the program and I'm rather enjoying learning more about it and teaching myself different aspects.

2.) Photoshop is sometimes a struggle for me and I'm still trying to learn how to use it. I have to learn the color correcting and making it cool colors.

  34. 1. i think im a pretty good photographer. I could probably try and take better pictures like less blury and what not but i think i take some pretty good angle and other things. I like all the things you can do with photo shop makes the pictures really uniqe.

2.) photoshop is almost down i think i need a couple more things then i will be set.

  35. 1.) I think I am not that bad of a photographer. I also think that I have a good tell of depth, and I take pictures with good angles. Some of my weaknesses are I have a tendency to take blurry pictures, and I do not use the rule of thirds a lot which I should start to use more often.

    2) I am starting to get a hand of Photoshop. But I still don't understand some of the tools in there. I think I just need a little more practice with it and I will have a good understanding on what I need to do.

  36. 1.So far from what I learned as a photographer that I am not that good at taking pictures. I really don't mind really, but I would like would like to get better maybe if I concentrated a little bit more, I could be better.]

2.At that time I was a little bit confused with Photoshop. Now I understand it a lot especially color corrections.

  37. 1. So far I am kinda good and kinda bad at taking pictures. If I was to try harder at it they would be fine.

    2. I know photoshop because I in digital photography lasted year. The only thing I need to remember is to make a new screen every time.

  38. 1. One problem I have is taking pics of objects and human just because when I take pictures of humans I have to interact with them. Then object I can't tell a rock to move left of right it just does not work. But I can work really well with my dogs they do not disobey they do what I ask and have no problems doing it.

    2. Color corrections are not a big deal I been doing in and out of class. It something I think I'm good at so Color corrections is a great thing to do with photos. Then on resizing I don't like resizing I mean it's not hard but I just don't like to do it. But the all personal options.

  39. 1. Tell me what you learned about yourself as a photographer thus far. Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses as far as how well you take photos. It is important for you to recognize these aspects. For me to make a list on my strengths would be hard simply because i dislike taking photos i signed up for film and the classes got combined with out me knowing. I guess i have some good angles and perspective on some things but other wise I'm not very creative with it. weaknesses i don't concentrate I also fail to take the right amount of pictures and leave it at that .

    2. Tell me a little bit about your experience with Photoshop thus far. How comfortable do you feel with just Color Corrections and resizing your images? List any questions or concerns. Explain a problem you may have run into and how you went about handling your problem. photoshop ? i mean i guess its not that bad i know how to use it ok so that makes it easy . i don't have a propose really besides to get know adobe software for the film part and thats it color corrections are boring and easy i would rather just never change the color just the sharpness and definition .

  40. I learned that I am a pretty good photographer. I also learned that i take really good landscape photos and that taking pictures of nature is defiantly my strength. I am not good at taking pictures of things i don't like. I think that my problem is, is that if i don't like my subject then I will not take a good picture of it. I am good at taking High quality pictures and I've learned that photography is something that i would really like to pursue.

Photoshop is really easy to use and I am very comfortable with color corrections. In one of my landscape photos i made it look like it was autumn when in my original photo the leaves were bright green. I prefer to not use photoshop because i like the natural coloring of my photos, but i know that if i want to be a successful photographer I need to be comfortable with photoshop.

  41. I learned that i am pretty good at taking picture of many different things. My streangths of taking photos were i get a good angles and i make sure the picture is going to turn out good before i even take it. Some weaknesses of my photos are i dont think i really have any lol. But i want to invest in a really nice camera.

My experience with photogerauly this far is i have always take pictures of cool stuff. I like taking alot of prictures when im on vactoin or somewhere thats unique. The best place ive went and took pictures was either new york or when i was in California. But when i was in school 3 years ago, i had to make a imovie that actraully turned out pretty good but id rather take pictures than videos.

  42. 1. I've learned that I'm actually a decent photographer, which is something I wouldn't have guessed considering my inexperience with cameras and photography in general. My strengths are definitely my ability to find good locations to take pictures, especially landscapes. On the other hand my weaknesses are probably my inability to use flash to my advantage and my somewhat shaky hands.

    2. I'm very comfortable with photoshop so far, especially resizing images or just color corrections. My use of photoshop last year and my exposure Gimp over the last 2 years or so or two helps me grasp some of the concepts a bit easier, like layers or the selection tools.
